Is there a known bug that causes the Sierra Wireless EM7455 of C1111-4PLTEEA to crash?
I've encountered multiple devices that needed a reboot because they could not reconnect with 4G.
When they crash, at least one of those messages is logged:
%IOSXE-3-PLATFORM: R0/0: kernel: xhci-hcd f2510000.usb3: ERROR Transfer event TRB DMA ptr not part of current TD ep_index 7 comp_code 1
%IOSXE-3-PLATFORM: R0/0: ngiolite: modem qmi fds failed to initialize
I suspect an issue with platform usb disable because so far, no device has crashed which does not have that statement. However, I'm uncertain because those crashes occur randomly, one a week or once a month.
