I was attempting to use my C2801 as the hub in a frame relay setup. However I am only able to go up/up on 2 of the 3 devices needed for this topology. Is this a software limitation? Or am I over looking something here?

This is an older 1st generation 2801 I assume ? I remember that you can test the interfaces by putting them in 'loopback local' mode. If the interface is okay, it should come up. Can you give that a try ? What cabling do you have connected to that interface ?

I know all WIC modules work on this router because I have switched serial cables between interfaces, however I am unable to get all 3 to work simultaneously

Serial0/1/0 unassigned YES NVRAM down down
Serial0/2/0 unassigned YES unset up up
Serial0/3/0 176.3.47.6 YES NVRAM up up

Hello,

it might have something to do with the controller settings. Try and type 'controller' in global config mode and see what options there are.

Can you post the output of 'show diag' ?

hi,

the 3 WICs were detected by the show inventory output.

is DCE/DTE terminations correct?

do you have clock rate configured on the DCE interface?
