Hi,

I would like to interconnect 2 remotes sites using Telephone line (max 2km) and I want to know which SKU to order: C888-K9 or C888EA-K9

(Direct link not through an ISP)

Could you tell me what is the bandwidth that I can reach? Is there any formula that can give the bandwidth given the distance between the sites and maybe other variables

Please advice

Thanks

Ihssan

I don't believe this will work.

You need to connect the 888 to a DSLAM, I don't believe you can connect them back to back over copper.  Long ago Cisco used to sell LRE (long range Ethernet) kit that could do this - but no more.

I don't believe there are any current Cisco products you can use to solve your problem.

However you could may be able to run a WiFi bridge link using Cisco 1532's ...
