Can we VTP prune native VLAN?(Not VLAN 1)

As we know VLAN 1 is by default "native". All control traffic(CDP, LLDP, STP BPDUs, etc) uses this native VLAN 1 and it is not eligible for  VTP pruning

1. What if I set VLAN 10 as "native"? then CPD, LLDP, BPDUs uses this VLAN 10 for their communication?

2. If I set VLAN 10 as "native", now can I VTP prune that VLAN 10?

3. Can I do "switchport trunk allowed vlan all except 1": VLAN 1 "except"? In the same way, can I do manual pruning for VLAN 10 which native VLAN?

4. How point 2 and 3 effect CPD, LLDP, BPDUs i.e if I prune, how protocols exchange data (LLDP, CPD, BPDUs)

Thanks

1) No, they continue to use vlan 1 except now they are tagged. This applies to all control protocols with the exception of DTP which follows the native vlan ie. it is always untagged.

2) As far as I know yes providing you are not using the native vlan for any end devices etc.

3)  You can prune vlan 1 but it will still be used for the control protocols.

4) see 3)
