Hi guys,
I am new to the world of networking and just have started my CCNA RS training. However, I have not applied for a training from anywhere, just reading a book "Todd Lammle", and completing its lab questions using "Cisco Packet Tracer".
I want to know is it enough to get me the certificate and required knowledge. And in how much time should I complete my training.
I know the depends on how much time I can give, but I am ready to make it my priority, so your suggestions would be really helpful.
Thank you.

Some people are very fast learner. And there are some that can memorize the entire volume. If you are confident that you can pass the exam then it's your call.

I studied by using old materials and borrowing the equipment from the office.
Again, it all depends on how confident one is.

As I also have started a job in a networking company but they are not providing any training regarding r/s
Training is nothing if you don't pass the test.

Hi there,
I found that reading through the Cisco Press CCNA Certification guides and practicing the theory on GNS3 was enough. I was still working as a server admin at the time and it took about 3 months to complete the process working in my spare time.
You could always break it in two and go the ICND 1&2 path to achieve the CCNA.
cheers,
Seb.
