This is my scenario. I can access the LAN environment 10.1.1.X from 20.1.1.X but cannot get out the gateway to the internet?
Any ideas? The linksys gatway model is a WRV54G.
I am mystified.

Your linksys does nat only for the connected subnet 10.1.1.0.
The 20.x.x.x network is hence not natted which is why it doesn't work.
I do not know for sure if it is possible to add an additional network as nat inside but that is where you must look.

The cisco equivalent for a Linksys is the 800 series router, just pick the model that fits your media.

On Cable Internet you may also use an ASA5505, assuming the interface is 100BaseT or better.
