We are having cisco 1760 routers we need
serial numbers of those routers.
we tried sh version, sh inventory, sh diag it shows serial no. of processor bord .
is ther is any another command by which we can get serial no. ?
we are using 12.4 advance security ios

No, there is no other command.

Paolo has given the correct answer for your question. Note that this function is platform dependent. There are some platforms, especially the ISR routers, in which the show inventory command will provide the serial number for the router. I believe that there may be some platforms in which the serial number may appear in other show commands. But for the 1700 router the only way to find the serial number is to physically look at the chassis.
