Cisco 1841 or 1921 router operate with WIC-4ESW card

Hello everyone, I have two old routers 1841 and 1921 series with IOS 12.2(4) and 15.1 and I would like to install a WIC-4ESW card on slot 0/1 (?), is it possible (?) Or what limitations do I have? thanks

Hi there,

The card will not work in either platform. Both the 1841 and 1921 require HWIC cards.

I think HWIC cards may be required.
