Hi, anyone got any idea why there is no ip inspect command on a Cisco 1941?

Version is 15.1 (M4) and ipbasek9

I can use a reflexive list but wanted to use CBAC but the ip inspect command isn't present.

Hello

CBAC is supported but you need to upgrade the IOS to Universal feature set

Hi,

It's probably because your license does not support it - you would need the Security license in order to configure the firewall.

Regardless you should consider Zone Based Firewall (ZBFW) instead, reference here - this would also require the security license.

You should also consider upgrading the IOS if possible, the latest is 15.7.

Hello,

your IOS image should support right to use activation. Check if you can execute the below:

1. license right-to-use activate ipservices | lanbase} {all | evaluation all } [slot slot-number] [
acceptEULA]
2. reload [ LINE | at |

Brill. That was it. Thank you.
