Hi,

I have a 2800 cisco router and i need to restore the router configuration.

A copy command to the running-config file didn't work out.

I know that the configuration was not deleted.

How can i restore it?

A copy to the running config does a " merge" of the copied config with the running config.
lines you don't want any more may still be present.

Do a " show startup-config"
Is this the config you want? If so do a " reload". And you Will be OK.
Of not, copy the saved config to "startup-config" and reload.
