Hello,

Can you please elaborate on what and how you connect to the router and also what do you mean by disconnects. Can you show some output from the router, like "show ip route", "show ip eigrp nei" etc.

i connect a network printer and a tax machine with static ip 192.168.28.3 and 192.168.28.4.

When i search and connect the printer i do some printing and several minutes later the printer status sais disconect.

OK, are what machine do you ping the printer from? What IP address? If it is in the same network, then the router is not even used.

in several machines that have ip from dhcp . 192.168.28.59 and similar. Is it a port issue?

No, that has nothing to do with the router. I presume they are all connected to the same switch? Or are they connected to a switch module on the router?

Yes correct in the same switch not on the routers switch module

Well, in that case the communication between printer and PCs is not going via the router. Router has nothing to do with that.

you have a point but as i see in switch there no clue for this problem. Do you have any suggestions how to continue?

thank you.

It looks like you've got a simple flat network with only one VLAN. Printers do sometimes go into power saving mode and turn off the network card. Rebooting the printer should help. However, if it goes to sleep mode every few minutes, rebooting it every time is not a solution. Try to have a look in the printer's settings and find the idle timeout. Increase it and see if that helps.

unfortunately i have done all the above with no result

OK, another thing to try is to run a continuous ping from a server to the printer. That might keep the NIC awake.

i have done but with no result some times ping some times not. i think the problem is here.  can i permit a specific ip 192.168.28.3 for example in the network?

show access-list
Standard IP access list 10
10 permit 194.219.3.112, wildcard bits 0.0.0.3 (2 matches)
20 permit 62.1.56.112, wildcard bits 0.0.0.7 (4 matches)

You can permit it, but I doubt that this is the issue. If it was denied, you would never get access.
