Cisco 2811 can't see HWIC-1CE1T1-PRI

Hi, I have a HWIC-1CE1T1-PRI in a Cisco 2811 running IOS c2800nm-advipservicesk9-mz.124-18b.bin.

When I enter the "card type E1 0 0" command (it is in WIC 0 slot) I get the following response:

SYINDEV01RW02(config)#card type e1 1 0

^

% Invalid input detected at '^' marker.

Also the show inventory or show hardware commands do not appear to show this card at all.

Am I missing something here or does this look like the card is faulty?

You need a minimum IOS of 12.4(20)T for this card, see Table 2 of the following doc -

so you need to upgrade your IOS.

OK, thanks for the response, will upgrade the IOS as you suggest. I did wonder if this was an issue.
