Hi Experts,
I would like to check if lets say I put in extra WIC Card to the extra slot, will Serial0/0
changed slot to the new slot, meaning as below:
ROUTER Back DISPLAY
----- Old WIC ---- empty slot -----
Serial0/0
-----old WIC---- new slot -----
Serial0/1 Serial0/0
Will the slot changes??
Thanks in advanced.

hi
Cisco 2811 has slots numbered like 0,1,2,3 if you insert a wic (either wic 1t or wic2t)it will be numbered accordingly.
As far as my understanding goes you will have Serial 0/0 with Wic-1T and Serial 0/0 and 0/1 when you have Wic-2T.
If you are trying to install a card onto the new slot then it will be numbered in new fashion with respect to the slot its inserted.
Is that answers your query ?
