Hello,
I have a Cisco 3220 and it has multiple interface cards (Ethernet and Serial). I  removed the serial interface on this router, but the router keeps rebooting. Is it possible to the remove the serial interface card on the router?

Thanks

It looks like it is removable to me.  You'll have to watch the console output to see why it says it is rebooting.

Hello Philip,

I look through the console output, but unable to decode the error messages.

Here are the error messages:

Thanks

It is very unhappy!

Try removing the config for the serial interfaces first, and then remove the card.

That software is also pretty old.  If you have access you could try a newer version of the code.
