Cisco 3850 Protchannel

Hi Guys,

The following commands are not working in my Catalyst3850

Router(config)# interface port-channel 1
Router(config-if)# lacp fast-switchover
Router(config-if)# lacp max-bundle 1
Router(config-if)# end

Currentely the switch have 03.02.03 SE IPBASE .

What do you aim for?

LACP config only requires


#interface range g0/1-2

  #channel-group 1 mode active 

#interface port-channel 1

  #switchport mode [access/trunk]     -configure as desired

Thanks for your reply.

I have 2*1G(fiber)  portchannel using LACP from a third party switch to cisco 3850 - and the problem what I'm facing is when one of the link fails the port channel goes down and takes 7-8 timeouts to come up. I wanna avoid that situation.
