Hi

We have bought a Cisco 3945, when we tried to configure it, it appears to misbehave. It automatically defaults to rommod

during configuration/ operation, is there anyone experienced the same?

Thanks

Hello Echo,

a starting point is to verify the configuration register settings

follow this document to check and to eventually change the configuration register value

Typical value for a router like yours is 0x2102

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/routers/ps133/products_tech_note09186a008022493f.shtml

you may have the break to rommon enabled that means the second hexadecimal digit not set.

Hope to help

Giuseppe
