Cisco 3945 router with 48 port switch service module

I have been trying to configure a new 3945 router with a 48 port switch service module installed. I am able to connect via console and configure both the router and the switch modul. However, at the end of the day I write the config to the router and then when I come in the next day, the entire config for the router is gone and it is back at rommon. I do a reset and it loads the IOS fine but the config is gone. First of all, I want to know why it is rebooting itself and going back to base config settings. If I can get some help on this it ould be appreciated. I also keep getting this message shortly after reloading router.

Try a stable IOS, eg 15.0(1)M
