I'm working on a project to upgrade and add comm to a remote site. We are going to add a 900 Mhz ethernet radio to send data to a permanent site. We also plan on adding another ethernet radio to shoot to another permanent site as a backup path. Both permanent sites are on different subnets so I figure I'll need a router at the remote site. I was told on that the Cisco 819 hardened version would probably work but after looking at the specs I'm not so sure. Can you guys tell me if this will work or if there's another solution to my problem? At this time speed isn't a big issue but in the future this remote site may be a backup path for the other permanent sites as they are both spurs off the main microwave network in this area. Any help is greatly appreciated.
