Can you please eject the line card in slot 8, wait for 10 seconds, and slide it back in?
If the same error message occurs after 7 - 10 minutes, contact TAC and get the line card RMA-ed.

Hi,
Tried re-seating but the problem remains the same. Any other troubleshooting to perform or RMA is the only solution.......?

RMA is the only solution.

Hi,
As I already told you that re-seating did not help. But as I removed the active card the from the slot, the router did not go off and this card became active and still having that Major error.
Then I removed that also and swapped their positions. Now, there is no error and everything is fine.
Thanks to all......
Chander.

Hi,
SUP card is failing at diagnostic checks. You could re-seat the card as suggested by Leo and check if it helps. It could be an issue with Line card and may require an RMA.

Hello
yes, RMA is the only option here, but couple of points to help you in future:
Jun 27 07:33:57.252: %CONST_DIAG-STBY-3-BOOTUP_TEST_FAIL: Module 8: TestLoopback failed on port(s) 1-5
Jun 27 07:33:57.252: %CONST_DIAG-STBY-3-BOOTUP_TEST_FAIL: Module 8: TestL2CTSLoopback failed on port(s) 1-5
Jun 27 07:33:57.252: %CONST_DIAG-STBY-3-BOOTUP_TEST_FAIL: Module 8: TestL3CTSLoopback failed on port(s) 1-5
The card is failing loopback test. This test is important to pass and usually indicates a transient or permanent hardware issue on failure.
Reseating usually helps to recover this condition in case of transient failures but in your case, since it has failed, RMA is the only option.
Also, whenever you notice such failure, you may want to check "show diagnostic events" command.
Hope this info helps.
