The disk0: from which the router boots from went bad (unable to read the flash card with the image). There is the bootflash: where the bootloader is stored. The router is in boot mode router (boot)#
I was able to transfer an image to the bootflash: and change the boot variable but the router did not reload properly.
Is the bootflash: not able to read and load the ios image ? Is it only for the bootloader ?
Thanks,
Pete

Hello Pete,
post
show bootvar
dir bootflash:
you need a line like
boot system flash bootflash:iosfilename
or
boot system bootflash:iosfilename
you can check with
dir bootflash:
or
dir bootflash:iosfilename
Hope to help

It appears the problems affecting disk0: is causing issues with the system bus. I was able to barely see it and it crash again.
Thanks for your input.
