hi,
I have 2 878 routers that will be getting connected via a BT ESP8 4 wire circut, but the carrier detect led will not come on, I have checked with BT and they are saying that they can only see the TX of the routers at both sides.
I have had to use a RG11 to BT plug adaptor as the routers only came with the RJ11-RJ11 patch lead, and the LTU needs to have a BT plug.
Does anybody know what the pinouts are from the routers, as I can't get the link to come up and need to rule out the cabling.
Thanks in advance
Ronnie

Hi, which DSL FW do you have, do "show dsl interface" to know.
The pinout is at:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk175/tk15/technologies_tech_note09186a0080174a3b.shtml
but it's just the central wires, should not be a problem in that.

Thanks for the response but I have resolved this and it was a cabling pin out problem, I had to make up my own cables.
If anybody is reading this as they have the same fault drop me a mail and I will send the pin outs to you.
Thanks
