Hi!
Apologies this is a very newbie type question!
In our office we currently hace a CISCO 861 Integrated Services Router. However we are about to change service provider and as a result will require dot1q encapsulation, and it appears that the 861 does not support this.
As far as I understand an the CISCO 881 Integrated Services Router with the Advanced IP Services license will have the 'encapsulation dot1q' command enabled. But despite trawling the internetI can't find anything that confirms this 100%! Can anyone confirm here that this command is indeed present on the 881 with Advanced IP services?
Thanks!
Robin

Reading a little more behind this I think my original question is a bit vague. More precisely we need to be able to configure the incoming WAN connection with PPPoE and dot1q encapsulation.
Does the 881 with Advanced IP services feature set have the capability to do this?
