Cisco 881W and VDSL

I have a Cisco881W which has been working a long time using the FastEthernet4 interface connected to a cable-modem.

Now the internet connection has changes to a VDSL connection. I found this url: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/routers/access/800/880/software/configuration/guide/880_basic_router_config.html

Here is described how to configure this router for ADSL/VDSL etc, but I run into a problem with the first command:

'controller vdsl 0' does not work: the command is not recognized.

Can someone tell me if this is a softwareversion-thing or maybe hardware-related?

Thx!!

To configure VDSL2 on the Cisco 887V ISR ...

It's related to the specific model you've got.  xDSL requires 8X7.  What you've got is a router with FastEthernet/GigabitEthernet as a WAN port.  You'll need to get a DSL model and enable the pass-through on the modem.
