Cisco Access switches 3750/3850 as DNS server

Hi Guys, 

Is it possible to configure 3750/3850 switches as DNS server. The command ip dns server doesn't seem to exist on the 3750 switches we tried. Is there any specific image or license requirement for the same.

you need at least 12.2(4)T for this command to be available. Which version are you running ? Post the output of 'show version'...

Hi,

There is no 12.2 T version available for the 3750 and 3850 switches on cisco. Currently the 3750 switch is running 15.0.2 SE8.

my bad, 12.2(4)T was the version this was introduced into IOS router software. For 3750 switches, that feature is not available at all...

Does this mean that the DNS server feature is not actually available on the access switches.
