Hi,
need know that parameter can to be configured to level of interface as put a channel-group.
channel-group X mode [active|passive|on]
channel-group X mode on is same that put channel-group X.
Need know that parameter without LACP, only want put LAG.

I believe the only option that you'll have to do this would be ON. Active/Passive set LACP, but On doesn't specify a protocol and just sets the etherchannel to On. In other words, it doesn't negotiate lacp/pagp but depends on the other side to make a connection. I have IBM servers that are connected to my 6509 and I have the channel groups configured to On.

Hi,
at the other end I have a switch to "on", but the ASR only gives me the option of "active | passive" I do not want or LAG or LACP and not to negotiate the protocol, so my choice is whether setting "channel-group 1" would be the correct parameter.

Hi,
I have just seen this snippet from the ASR1002 configuration guide.
http://www.manualslib.com/manual/445110/Cisco-Asr1002-Asr-1002-Router.html?page=397
It appears that just doing channel-group 1 does turn on Etherchannel without having to set the mode.
