Cisco cellular profile is switching from active to inactive

Upon configuring my Cisco 887 VAG 4g router, the cellular profile was active so it is ready for failover if my DSL connection fails. The next day the profile is now showing as inactive. I have spoken to the sim provider and said everything is correct on their end and coverage is great and is not showing any dips over a 24 hour period.

I am just wondering what would change the cellular profile from being active to inactive?

The 4g failover is no longer working. I reconfigured the router and it went back to being active, but it went back to inactive after a few hours. Any advice would help

Does it go inactive when there is no traffic traversing the link? How are you routing the traffic to this link when the primary path fails?
