I'm wondering if it is worth it to use a cisco router for a home network, I am looking for a model who has at least 3 years of support (software), Do you have any advice or model to start, also, if u know another model who has support and are based on a beefy OS I'll appreciate your comments

what is purpose of a home router? for studying CCNA, etc ? Real Cisco router with 3 years of support will be very expensive (device + 3-year contract). I would look for used routers on ebay; those are really cheap and still work fine for home routing and studying purpose. long time I got two used 2800s router with IOS 15 for my Voice studies; used them for about 1 year and they were fine and probably still work (I switched to virtual lab software). Both used 2800s and 2900s are out of sofware support; meaning I don't think u can buy software support; if they break, just get another one.
Regards, ML

You can try ASA5505 + SG90D-08 to deploy your home network. If you have a significant budget, you can also try Meraki.
I hope my answer can help you.

@pravingohil7646 if your intentions are for cisco education you can use CML version and its free upto 5 devices. Personally I would choose open source devices (routers, firewall and Wifi Ap) You can look online and plenty of documents. If you are interested in CML I have attached the link for CML below.
