Good Morning,
We have a new Cisco ISR 4461 that came with SD-WAN features that we will not be using. It's currently running isr4400-universalk9.16.12.03.SPA.bin.
With that, there are different functions and commands in the router that are not needed. For example, "config-t" is "config-transaction." There are other commands we are trying to use that the router doesn't support by saying "This command is not supported."
We would like to install or downgrade to an IOS that does not support SD-WAN and essentially makes the ISSR 4461 use traditional IOS commands.
We currently use 4431's for field offices. Is it as simple as grabbing the IOS on the 4431 and putting it on a 4461?

You will need to force the router into ROMMON and then use the Emergency Install command to force the router to boot the non-SDWAN firmware.
I don't have any idea what commands are allowed but try this command to force the router into ROMMON:
factory-reset all

I will try when I head back into the office tomorrow.
