I'm trying to configure a PPPoE Connection on an Cisco ISR 892 Router. And after my first attempts went wrong, I took a look into the official Cisco Configuration Guide telling me I did nothing wrong ... so fare so good, atteched is an excerpt of my Configuration.

And the Problem I'm facing is, that my Router IOS doesn't seem to know the vpdn-group 1 --> protocol pppoe command. I already tryed different IOS Versions but no change.

Any suggestions on how so fix this? Or is this a general IOS Bug ??

Best regards.

Thomas

Hi,

AFAIK You don't need this part, the config you posted from G0 onward is ok and it should work.

Regards.

Alain.
