Hello,

I just finished configuring ISR4331, now I only need to accept only list of mac addresses (bound to static IP addresses). I searched all over the internet, none of the offered syntaxes work. I'm stumped. Any help is appreciated.

Hello @erdene,

Do you have NIM card on your ISR4331? I mean a Gigabit Ethernet LAN Switch NIM card that provides Ethernet switching capabilities?

Because MAC ACL feature is not supported on the ISR4331 router. It primarily provides Layer 3 IP filtering capabilities. If you want to restrict access based on MAC addresses on the ISR4331, you may need to consider alternative approaches.

the MAC ACL is only for SW I think, here if you want to filter the MAC, do
use DHCP and assign static IP for this Host MAC
and then filter this IP.

Can you elaborate more?

the router not support MAC ACL
so
we assign static IP to MAC (via DHCP)
then we use IP ACL to filter these IP
