Can anyone assist? Trying to connect Calix DSLAM directly to router using Calix 100G, 40k BiDi optics. In all scenarios with NCS 55A1 routers, optics function as expected. With our new site, host is an NCS57B1, will not transmit light.
NCS 57B1 with Calix 40k BiDi. Same optic working in NCS 55A1.
Not transmitting light.

-3rd party optic is never guaranteed to work, even if it does on another cisco device ,
checkout : https://tmgmatrix.cisco.com/?npid=4364 'to be good'
- You may try to check the logs when the connection is made , use recent software on the NCS, or
use commands as in :
(config)# no errdisable detect cause gbic-invalid
(config)# service unsupported-transceiver
If available ,

Use an LC-LC loopback plug and see if the link goes up or goes into error-disable.
