End user is trying to access other network by using switch (SVI for end user) and between switch and router are using Single area ospf and routing table looks good but when we do traceroute, occurs route loop between switch and R1.

Workaround - Static route point to R2.

can you share the OSPF config in router and SW and also show ip int brief in R and SW

MHM

@palani2010

 Dont you have static/default route on the R1 send the traffic back to the switch?  That could explain the issue.

Insufficient information to really determine cause.

From the described topology, you shouldn't be seeing a routing loop, unless you've stumbled across some unusual bug or devices are misconfigured.

Providing full (sanitized - remove/change non-essential confidential information, like clear text passwords) configs of all 3 devices would be helpful.

@MHM Cisco World has already asked for OSPF config information, but there much other related configuration information that could potentially override OSPF configuration information [why @Flavio Miranda asked about other static routes], so, providing all but confidential configuration information, would be better.  MHM also asked for some show information, but if the configuration information I'm asking for is provided, would much determine, what, if any, show information I would want to see.)
