Hi all. Can anyone help me how to configure Nexus 7000 Vrf Management for mgmt 0 to copy files from tftp? I even can not ping tftp server.
I think a problem is in wrong route of management vrf.
Thanks in advance

mgmt 0 uses vrf management, not default.
Also you cannot use tftp with nexus, need to use sftp or usb thumb drive.

Hi,
Just add a default route in the vrf management pointing to the management's network gateway.
vrf context management
ip route 0.0.0.0/0 x.x.x.1
interface mgmt0
vrf member management
ip address x.x.x.10/24

I added a route also but I was again unable to ping.
then I tried to ping as follows "ping x.x.x.x vrf management" and it was successful . it seems that you can't ping from management vrf unless you write "vrf management" after ip address
finaly I found that problem was in incompatibility for tftp server
I used cisco kits tftp server then and solved the problem
thanks everybody
