Hi,
I have a question in terms of the cisco packet tracer (v. 7.3.1).
I don't know if this is a bug, but I will explain it here:
The packet tracer file that is in the attachment is able to send a ping command from PC2 to Server-PT (called google_ 8.8.8.8 / 8), even though the static routes on Router-PT (Internet Service Provider) are completely wrong in my opinion. Can someone explain me why I have a connection to Server-PT (called google_ 8.8.8.8 /
Don't worry, I put the .pkt file in a zip archive, because I can't upload .pkt here.
Thanks,
david_st

Hello,
I opened your file. In addition to the wrong routes, both serial interfaces have the same IP address (11.0.0.2). I agree, it should not work, and indeed looks like a bug in Packet Tracer.

I take a look but bugs exists everywhere.
Besides, PT from Cisco Net Academy is just a software Simulator; it does not run on real IOS or virtual IOS; It is close to IOS but It does not really behave like real IOS would (some simply features do).
