Hello all,
I'm facing an issue on a router Cisco CISCO2901/K9 with release flash0:c2900-universalk9-mz.SPA.157-3.M8.bin
Basically I receive the following log errors when the EHWIC-4G-LTE-G inserted:
*Apr 5 10:44:50.991: UNKNOWN WIC_TYPE:0x0 detected.
*Apr 5 10:44:50.991: %CELLWAN-4-CELLULAR_MODEM_SKU_MISMATCH: Cellular0/1/0: Mismatch detected between installed modem MC7710[SKU ID ] on NIM SKU type EHWIC-4G-LTE-G. Expected modem for this SKU is MC7710[SKU ID 9901707]
*Apr 5 10:45:16.151: %CELLWAN-2-MODEM_UP: Modem in HWIC slot 0/1 is now UP
*Apr 5 10:45:16.151: %CELLWAN-2-MODEM_DOWN: Modem in HWIC slot 0/1 is DOWN
*Apr 5 10:45:21.739: UNKNOWN WIC_TYPE:0x0 detected.
*Apr 5 10:45:21.739: %CELLWAN-4-CELLULAR_MODEM_SKU_MISMATCH: Cellular0/1/0: Mismatch detected between installed modem MC7710[SKU ID ] on NIM SKU type EHWIC-4G-LTE-G. Expected modem for this SKU is MC7710[SKU ID 9901707]
I tried to reload the device, plug and unplug the module (currently no SIM is inserted) change the card module with another of the same model, upgrade the firmware of the router but nothig has changed. I sadly couldn't find any info in other forums nor in cisco official guides and bugs that could exlpain such behaviour.
Any Idea or help?
Thank you all!

Hello @Simone C ,
recently had the same problem with the same 4G LTE module like yours. I solved the issue by downgrading to IOS 15.3-3.M2.
Hope this helps.
