Hello,

i have planned that i build up the Cisco RV340 with failover LTE modem.

Can you give me the supported LTE(4G) modem for this router?

I'm in Germany and my mobile provider is Telekom and/or Vodafone.

The best thing if i can connect an external antenna.

regards

Hi @Gipsy

Why dont you use ISR800 that comes with 4G on it plus RV340 services?

Hello

ok!

Do you me that i build the Cisco RV340 for all functions (direct connection to ISP, VPN, Firewall and so one..) and only the Cisco ISR 880 for WAN failover (LTE/4G).

That's right? Or only the Cisco ISR 880?

The Cisco ISR 880 is that here or?

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/routers/887-integrated-services-router-isr/data_sheet_c78_459542.html

Only ISR.  Of course, if you already had invested in RV340  then maybe is better keep it.

I used to work with ISR829 and they have external antenna for 4G network which improve signal quality plus basic functionalities.

Hello,

ok thanks!

Actually i don't buy the Cisco RV340 router, because i'm in the planning phase.

I think the ISR8XX has less functions as the Cisco RV340. Right?

Can you help me do find the right router to my needs?

My need are:

 - Dual WAN (primary: ISP; secondary (only for backup): integrated 4GE)

I think an integrated LTE functionaltiy is besser that connect a usb drive

 - Firewall (Functions as RV340 are enough)

 - Port-Forwarding

 - SSL VPN

 - Create external VPN users on "router" and internal VPN user authenticate to our Active Directory

 - Use of Cisco AnyConnect

 - Posiblity for Site to Site VPN

 - Configuration what external vpn user can access to specifiy ressources (only to Server A, B...)

If you need more information, please ask me!

Thanks!
