Configure IP SLA on WS-C6509-E

Tony T.
Level 1
Level 1

Hello-

Can I configure IP SLA on a 6509 w/ IOS 12.2(18) SXF7? When attempting to configure IP SLA on the CLI I don't see an option. I even looked for the legacy command "rtr" and didn't see that either. Any assistance is appreciated.

Kind Regards,

Tony

Hey balaji,

(Forgive me if that's not your first name.)

So the first thing, I can't find the specific platform I'm asking about (WS-C6509-E) in that link (https://cfnng.cisco.com/archived-data)

The second thing is I can't provide a complete view of the "show version" command. However, I copied as much as I could.

Lastly, there is no error. The command just doesn't show up.

Hey,

Yes, the supervisor you mentioned above is correct - WS-SUP720-3BXL.

The data you attached is great. And, the I figured out how to find that platform on the Cisco Feature site.

Nonetheless, the router does not show IP SLA. I can't show the results of the router but when I do the following command I don't see an option for IP SLA:

Router (config)# ip ?

i am afraid i do not have any device that has 12.X code i can test, i am sure or remember i used it.
