i have two posible links to internet and i need to configure two default static routes in the router with diferent metric, my primary link is over a wan link with frame-relay and i want that if the primary link is down all traffic to internet goes to for an isdn backup line, i have two static default routes, one for the primary link with metric 1 and other for the isdn link metric 50, but is not working correctly, i mean is necessary that the interface of primary link is down to the secondary default route works?
how can i do to make that the default route with metric 50 works if the pvc of primary link is inactive and the interface is up?
any ideas?
