I have a 3800 Series router and the console connection does not want to work.
We have a known good cable as it works with other routers.
We have adjusted the baud rate trying every single on available VIA putty
I cannot use my Net manager to SSH into it at all
When connecting the console cable to the router and perform a reboot the screen stays blank with no option to input any commands into the router just a black screen.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

It could be that the console port is broken or has hardware flow control enabled. Do you get anything on the AUX port? What does "line con 0" and "line aux 0" look like in the config.

In the backup configs I do not see a no exec on the console connection, as for the aux it is configured with a no exec. These are old templates I am looking at as I cant even get in to verify the configs on the router. I cant even break into rommon.

Hello
If you know the ip address of the router and are able to reboot it then you could try to connect directly into its routed port with a laptop -give the laptop an ip address within the same subnet range of the router and then try a remote connection-telnet/ssh ?
