console port

I was trying to use my console port as a second serial connection for i only have one serial connection and need a second one. I read through a lot of staff could get it any where.  Any ideas would really appreciated.

You do not tell us what kind of device this is and you are not specific about what kind of serial connection you are trying to get. My guess is that you are trying to get some kind of WAN type serial connection. The console port is not capable of this.

Its a Cisco 819 router. Just need another regular serial port so as i can run raw-sockets to a second RTU.
