Core 6509 snmp community string change

The Core device of an acquired company (Business Partner) has their snmp string which is no longer being monitored by the (Business Partner).

I want to change the community parameters on their Core device so it will report to my Solarwinds. 

Is it as simple as changing the strings or are there other considerations?

Are there any "gotchas" to be wary of?

Hi,

You can simply delete the old string and than add the new one.

Manually pull the device from SolarWinds to make sure it is working.
