What is Cisco's definition of "Country of Origin"?

I don't know the answer. This is the country of origin tool.

My personal guess is it will be the country where the parts were assembled into a finished unit.

I agree with the assumption that the "Country or Origin" is where the system went through the final step in the manufacturing process. It is interesting to note that I have talked to several supposed Cisco experts in the Partner Support Group and they did not know. One so called expert told me that the Country of Origin is where the system is currently residing, but I am sure that is not the case.

I found the following definition:
"
The country where goods were manufactured, mined, grown, assembled or where the last substantial transformation has occurred. |
Sounds official enough for me!
