Can we create sub-interface (for e.g. Gig0/1/0.101) on Cisco 1100 router ? I have a Cisco 1113-8P router where when trying to create a sub-interface it is giving me invalid command.
My second question is, if we can create a sub-interface, can we assign it an IP Address for management ? Is a VLAN (or may SVI) required here ?
