Hi,

Has anyone got to the nuts and bolts of setting svConnPrefRouteDesc ? That is the equivalent of the 'cnfpref' on the CLI.

To create a preferred route, use the following procedure:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Step 1 Select a preferred route ID that has not been used for previous preferred routes.

Step 2 Identify the source node and intermediate network elements (NEs) (node name and outgoing trunk port) for the preferred route.

Step 3 Send an SNMP SET on the following objects of the cwmPrefRouteCnfTable:

cwmPrefRouteSrcNode = Source NodeName

cwmPrefRouteShelf =

cwmPrefRouteId = RouteId

cwmPrefRouteRowStatus = CreateAndGo

cwmPrefRouteNECount =

The cwmPrefRouteCnfTable contains one row per preferred route.

cwmPrefRouteNESrcNode =

cwmPreRouteNwElemSrcShelf =

cwmPrefRouteNEId =

cwmPrefRouteNEPos =

cwmPrefRouteNENode =

cwmPrefRouteNEBay =

cwmPrefRouteNESlot =

cwmPrefRouteNELine =

cwmPrefRouteNEPort =

cwmPrefRouteNERowStatus = CreateAndGo

cwmPrefRouteNELast = <1 if the NE is not the last one> <2 if the NE is the last one>
