i have lab ... and i have noticed a quit wired thing or may b i m not getting it.....i have four routers running...and i have configured RIPv1 on them.....when i telnet one router and put command debug ip rip.....debugging gets on but i dont see any result of that on my screen....i waited for more then 30 sec but nothing happens.....but when i connect same router via console port...and when i put tyhe same command i see debug results....can someone plz tell me as i m not getting in to it...thanks in advance

By default all logging messages are sent to console.
When you telnet in, you are using the VTY line and for you to the see the logging or debug output, do a "term mon" in the privileged exec mode. To turn off terminal monitor, type "term no mon".

Just do a Term mon on Telnet session. You should be able to see the logs.
