Good day,
I have three routers in my network, RTA, RTB and RTC.
RTA can go to internet accross RTB and RTC.We want that RTB or RTC can automatically choose his gateway (RTC or RTB). This choice will be done by RTC or RTB next-hop reachibility (RTC or RTB internet gateway.
Which dynamic protocol i have to use ?
Please do you have a configuration example ?
Best regards.

hi
if i assume your RTA is connected via RTB and RTC to IGW (RTA---RTB---RTC) then few quick words about how u can make this work.
u can run ospf between these routers and generate a default from RTC where you got the IGW link terminated.
the same default can be used in RTB too if it doesnt have a IGW link terminated on it.
do revert back if ur setup is something different than wht i penned over here.

Normally the link is RTA-IGW1 or RTA-RTC-IGW2,we want that can choose dynamicly his gateway (RTB or RTC) depending of state of remote link. That mean that if RTB-IGW1 change up to down, RTB will change his gateway to RTC
Is Ospf can help us to apply it ? Please do you have a coniguration example ?
Best regards.

Hi
if u hve IGW in all these locations then do confirm whether you are getting connected to the same SP and also the address space whether its Provider addressed or provider independent?
ideal case would be getting the default from the SP on each locations and distribute them via ospf to other sites and again u can send the default info untill(ur link is up) u hve them in your own router..
but the inbound traffic flow during the failures to be checked based on ur conenctivity between ur SP and the address space being used in ur routers..
