Defaulting a 2950 or 3550 Switch

Is there a way/command to bring the switch back to it's factory default programming? I have a set of switches I would like to start over from scratch with. Would a startup config and vlan.dat from a new switch be all I need to completely start over, or would I still be missing something?

To rease the config-

'write erase'

To also remove the vlans-

'del flash:vlan.dat'

Then reload
