DHCP Issue

hi Friends,

i have an issue i need to find a good solution for it..

We have a Cisco 3925 Router connected to one of our customers sites and receiving a DHCP public IP Address through Comcast modem.

when i enabled ACL on this interface to allow only specific ip address to connect to this router/network, after some time i lose my Public ip address..

i am thinking that this ACL is also preventing the DHCP request and response to renew the DHCP time lease.

what is the ACL to allow the DHCP to work correctly?

i just added these two commands but i didn't apply the ACL to the interface because if i am mistaken this site is far a way from me.

15 permit udp any any eq bootps log
16 permit udp any any eq bootpc log

Thanks Guys for your help

I ran into this exact problem when rolling out DMVPN with DHCP assigned public space.

permit udp any eq bootps any eq bootpc (1501 matches)

is what I've used to address this problem.
