The output to the command "sh ip dhcp binding" shows very strange Hardware Adresses" as shown in the attached file. Could someone explain what this mean?

Yeap, that's the client identifier who ever is that device is sending this client identifier, sometimes it's ascii-hex, this doe snot seem to be ascii hex. If you debug ip dhcp server packet and debug ip dhcp server events you will see that the sever (this router) is getting this client id from that host.
