Hi Everybody,
What is the difference between the commands
Router(config)#logging <server ipaddress> and
Router(config)#logging host <ip address>
in cisco ios.Can anybody provide the link for this in cisco site where clear information regarding this is given.

Hello Shahul,
both commands do the same thing, that is, specifying the IP address or the host name of a syslog server. The ´logging´ command was introduced first, and in later IOS releases changed to the ´logging host´ command.
